Cultural Research & Design
Every Jah Bless Lion piece begins with deep respect for Rastafari culture. Our design team — artists who live the culture — researches symbolism, history, and meaning before a single line is drawn.
The Lion of Judah, Ethiopian crosses, Nyabinghi drums, Bob Marley quotes — these aren’t just graphics. They’re cultural touchstones that carry meaning. We make sure every design honors that meaning.
Premium Fabric Selection
We source combed ringspun cotton (180-220 GSM) for our tees — the same quality used by premium streetwear brands. Our hoodies use 320-380 GSM fleece for that heavy, luxurious feel.
Available fabrics: 100% combed cotton, cotton-polyester blends (80/20), organic cotton, and tri-blend (50/25/25 polyester-cotton-rayon) for ultra-soft tees.
Screen Printing & DTG
We use two printing methods depending on the design:
- Screen Printing — For bold, vibrant designs with limited colors. Superior durability (50+ washes).
- Direct-to-Garment (DTG) — For photographic or complex multi-color designs. Water-based inks for a soft hand feel.
All prints are cured at 320°F (160°C) to ensure color fastness and longevity.
Quality Control
Every garment passes a 7-point quality check before it leaves our facility:
- Print alignment and color accuracy
- Stitch integrity (seams, hems, collars)
- Fabric consistency and weight
- Size accuracy (±0.5 inch tolerance)
- Color bleeding test
- Print durability (wash test sample)
- Final visual inspection

Each order is individually folded, poly-bagged with a Jah Bless Lion sticker, and shipped with tracking. We use eco-friendly poly mailers made from recycled materials.
